San Diego-based C3 Risk & Insurance Services has announced its merger with Private Management Insurance Agency (PMIA) and Clark Insurance Agency, both of which are led by veteran Matt Clark.

The company said the merger marks a significant milestone in C3’s mission to establish a first-class company in San Diego and across Southern California, offering a comprehensive suite of services to its clients.

“We are delighted to be merging with PMIA and Clark Insurance Agency,” said Jamie Reed, Chairman of the Board at C3 Risk & Insurance Services. “This strategic collaboration allows C3 to strengthen its private clients division and solidify our position as a leading provider of insurance services in San Diego. Matt’s leadership and proven experience will be instrumental in driving our growth and delivering exceptional value to our clients.”

The company said the integration of PMIA, which is headquartered in San Diego, and Clark Insurance Agency, which is headquartered in North Carolina, will strengthen C3’s private clients division.

Clark brings a wealth of experience and leadership to the table, having successfully built and developed his own agencies since 2005, C3 said. Clark C3’s expertise will enable it to better meet the personal insurance needs of its current and future customers, ensuring customized solutions to meet their unique requirements.

“Over the past 17 years, Matt has built an incredible agency in the private client and personal line space,” said Gabe Erle, President, C3 Risk & Insurance Services. “His entrepreneurial spirit aligns with our mission, and we’re excited to help him raise and grow our personal lines division.”

“This merger is a great fit for us,” Clark said. “Not only is the culture at C3 family-oriented, but the partnership will also allow us to create something greater together than we would ever have been able to achieve on our own. I am excited to be part of the legacy that C3 is building.”
