Did you know that someone in the United States needs blood every two seconds and the American Red Cross provides about 40% of that blood?
In an effort to support the American Red Cross mission, last month Dominion Payroll opened its doors for the annual Fall Blood Drive. Employees, friends, customers and neighbors joined us in our community room, which has been converted into a donation center for those looking to make a donation.
Led by Dominion Payroll Cultural Specialist Susan Nixon, we had an amazing turnout of 30 individuals looking to donate blood and help save lives! Thanks to everyone who attended and donated, we were able to collect 25 units of blood, which has the potential to save up to 75 lives!
