The NFP property loss broker has announced the appointment of Josh Jeter (pictured above) as Senior Vice President and Leader of the Aerospace Specialty Practice as part of the company’s Aerospace Industry Group.
In his new role, Jeter will advise clients on aviation and space exposure. He will report to Matthew Schott, Managing Director of Electronic and Professional Management and Responsibility at the NFP.
“We are excited to welcome Josh to the NFP and our flying practices,” said Schott. “Given the current challenges in the aviation market, it is more important than ever to ensure that our clients have the expertise required to navigate the myriad of exposures they face. Josh’s energetic approach to customer service and his understanding of the various elements of the aviation market, including insurance companies and brokerages, It makes him a perfect fit to lead our flying practice.”
Prior to joining the NFP, Jeter served as Area Vice President for Gallagher’s Aerospace Practice. He has also served as an insurance underwriter at Allianz Global Corporate & Specialty and Assistant Director of Aviation and Reinsurance at Ironshore Insurance Services.
Jeter also serves as a member of the Air National Guard, and has over 16 years of aircraft maintenance experience. He is currently enrolled in the Graduate Certificate Program in Air and Space Law at the University of Mississippi School of Law.

NFP also recently appointed Mike McCrory as Senior Vice President, Energy and Marine Practices, and Lauren Kim as General Manager, Financial Institutions Group.
