In 2022, there were 4,436 major hailstorms nationwide, compared to 3,763 in 2021 (according to the Insurance Information Institute).
So, we tallied the top 10 states where our policyholders were affected by severe weather, and identified the areas with the highest number of wind, hail, and lightning claims in the past four years (2019-2022).
